The city of the best breed camels in the world. Ride on the back of the "ship of the desert" and visit the Camel Breeding farms, Junagarh Fort, Lallgarh Palace and Fort Museum.Overnight at hotel.
Depart for Jaisalmer. Visit the imposing Jaisalmer Fort, which is sure to leave you spellbound.Overnight at hotel.
Morning camel safari to Badabagh, the site of royal cenotaphs of the former rulers of Jaisalmer. Visit a typical Rajasthani village. Visit the magnificent "havelis" (mansions) with carved archways and intricate latticework. Visit the Manak Chowk - the main market place with narrow lanes dotted with famous "havelis" (mansions). Rest of the day free at leisure.
Visit the three exquisitely carved Jain temples then proceed for an excursion on camel back to a typical village in Rajasthan. Have an authentic village lunch and proceed to see the agricultural farms in the heart of the desert.
